Maria Elena has 17 years experience in the design field. She holds a Bachelor in Interior Design from Florida International University in Miami and completed an Architectural History minor in Italy. She is a licensed interior designer in the State of Florida and a member of A.S.I.D. She has been published in Florida Design, Casa y Estilo, Southern Boating, Selecta and the Miami Herald.
Maria Elena opened her firm HOLGUIN with the vision of using her design experience to give back to her community and the world. “To give our clients great service beyond their expectations, to design spaces and products that will make our environment a safer place for our future generations is my vision”.
Maria Elena has been able to travel as far as Tanzania, Africa to design beautiful spaces. She has done projects throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico and Colombia. “I am truly blessed to be able to love what I do, meet so many amazing people & travel with my work.”
